LONDON – The 2022 Inclusive Top 50 UK Employers index, which was unveiled earlier this month, at the Inclusive Awards, reveals the UK’s most inclusive employers. The list, which was compiled by Inclusive Companies, honours and rates companies that have been most constant over the course of their organisations’ existence and that welcome all forms of diversity. It has established itself as the undisputed cross-industry index, utilising both best practises and innovation to promote inclusion for all. It is now in its eighth year.
Canon UK & Ireland has been ranked number 42 in The Inclusive Top 50 UK Employers List 2022/23 in recognition of its ongoing commitment to workplace diversity, equity, and inclusion. The stance of Canon reflects the high standards it upholds. Canon has created and delivered high impact programmes to proactively adopt solutions in addition to addressing areas that need improvement.
Founder and CEO of Inclusive Companies, Paul Sesay said, “The independent advisory panel of Diversity & Inclusion experts review and analyse each and every submission. They look at ALL areas of diversity, including age, culture, disability, ethnicity, gender, LGBTQ+ and religion. Those organisations who have participated submit a great wealth of evidence regarding their inclusive practices, covering a wide range of areas and topics, and it is from this that the experts determine the Top 50 Inclusive employers.”
Every year, more employers submit entries, ranging from IT firms to NHS Trusts, police departments to The Open University, and utility corporations to building societies. Many new companies, such as Allianz, Transunion, Humberside Police, Rolls-Royce, Lincolnshire Police, Novuna, Canon, Police Now, Open University, CGI, Crown Commercial, and NielsenIQ, entered the 2022 list whereas the top three this year were all ranked the year before.
