LOS ANGELES, California – The global catalogue branch of Universal Music Group (UMG), Universal Music Enterprises (UMe), today announced the opening of uDiscover Musica, a Spanish-language website where music lovers of all ages can find up-and-coming artists and read about the history of the world’s greatest music library. The new website expands on the popularity of uDiscover Music, UMG’s platform for consumer-facing music discovery, editorial content, and online shopping.

Latin America is the region with the fastest-growing market for the consumption of music worldwide, and the platform will be at the forefront of this trend, collaborating closely with UMG’s international teams, especially Universal Music Latin Entertainment (UMLE), to deliver the highest-quality storytelling that not only explores the breadth of UMG’s catalogue and labels but also focuses on local markets, showcasing the top artists from Latin America, Spain, and other regions.

The Spanish-language website will be run by a group of industry professionals and renowned journalists who will engage music fans of all ages through in-depth artist interviews, focused news coverage, as well as exclusive video and digital content, in keeping with the standard that uDiscover Music has established. The stories from uDiscover Musica will be distributed on a number of important sites, just as those from its English-language equivalent.
